Job description

We are seeking a Risk Management Assistant Manager/Manager to support the Group in safeguarding its interests through effective risk governance. This role involves executing risk management initiatives, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting business units in managing risks effectively. You will also play a key role in preparing updates for management committees and identifying continuous improvements in governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned risk management initiatives, including business risk, corruption risk assessments, and business continuity planning.
• Guide and support business units and functions in conducting risk assessments in line with Group policies.
• Monitor emerging risks arising from new regulations or business changes.
• Draft, review, and update risk-related policies and procedures.
• Compile, maintain, and update risk profiles and records accurately and on time.
• Prepare and present risk management updates to the Risk Management & Sustainability Committee (RMSC), Audit Committee (AC), and Board.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve governance and risk processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CRMA, CIRM, CIA, CFA, ACCA, MICPA, CIMA) are an advantage.
• 4 - 5 years’ experience in risk management and/or audit, experience in BUSINESS/ENTERPRISE RISK & CORRUPTION RISK assessment will be prioritized.
• Good knowledge of risk concepts, frameworks, and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; additional auditing skills (safety, quality, ISO) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A team player with high integrity, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
