Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our Investor Relations (IR) team. In this role, you will support the company’s efforts in engaging with investors, analysts, and rating agencies. You'll help prepare communications, coordinate key investor events, and provide insights on market sentiment and shareholder activity.

This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in finance, strong communication skills, and a passion for connecting business strategy with investor expectations.

Job Responsibilities
Quarterly Results & Analyst Briefings
  • Assist in preparing the quarterly results materials, including:
  • Investor presentation slides
  • Q&A documents
  • Group CEO’s script and talking points
  • Help coordinate and manage logistics for analyst briefings (virtual or in-person), ensuring all details are covered.
  • Support senior leadership during briefing sessions with timely updates and materials.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Support the development of the Group CEO’s presentation deck and script for the AGM.
  • Draft responses to pre-submitted shareholder questions and help anticipate live queries.
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of the event.
Investor Meetings & Events
  • Assist in organizing investor meetings, non-deal roadshows, webinars, and Investor Day events.
  • Coordinate schedules, logistics, and internal preparation sessions with management.
  • Prepare and update presentation decks and briefing notes.
  • Keep track of meeting outcomes, attendance, and post-event feedback.
Shareholder & Market Monitoring
  • Analyze monthly changes in institutional and retail shareholding patterns.
  • Track analyst reports, industry news, and investor sentiment for internal reporting.
  • Support in compiling market insights for senior management newsletters.
Rating Agency Communications
  • Collect and summarize feedback from rating agencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for annual rating reviews.
IR Operations & Communications
  • Maintain and update the Investor Relations section on the company website.
  • Contribute to the IR section of the company’s annual report.
  • Help prepare submissions for investor relations awards.
  • Ensure internal IR policies and documentation are current and well-organized.
General Support & Administrative Duties
  • Process payments to vendors and manage related documentation.
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks and special projects as delegated by the Head of IR, Sustainability & M&A.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
  • Experience in financial analysis or investor relations is advantageous.Familiarity with Bursa’s Main Market Listing Requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English, with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financials.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high quality and integrity of information.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to function with minimal supervision and work under tight deadlines.
