Assistant Manager, Finance at Encorp Berhad will be responsible for supporting the organization’s treasury management and corporate finance functions. This includes liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, financial risk management, debt management, and assisting with corporate financing strategies. The role will work closely with senior management to ensure the company maintains strong financial health, meets its funding needs, and adheres to financial regulations and internal controls.
Monitor and manage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Assist in the preparation and review of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal cash management.
Support short-term and long-term liquidity planning to align with the company’s business strategy.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for the management of Encorp Berhad’s banking relationships.
Assist in optimizing cash usage by managing intercompany transfers and working capital.
Monitor and manage the company's cash positions, investments, and debt obligations.
Assist in implementing foreign exchange and hedging strategies to minimize currency and interest rate risks.
Assist in the preparation of financial models and evaluations for corporate finance initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and investment projects.
Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate the financial viability of new business opportunities.
Support the debt and equity capital raising processes, including preparation of investor presentations, reports, and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports related to treasury and corporate finance activities.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for optimizing capital structure and financial strategy.
Support the quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including providing data and analysis for management and auditors.
Identify financial risks related to treasury and corporate finance functions and assist in developing risk management strategies.
Monitor the company’s exposure to market risks, including interest rates, currency fluctuations, and liquidity risks.
Support the implementation of financial risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and legal requirements.
Assist in preparing necessary regulatory filings and documentation for audits, as required.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting treasury and corporate finance activities.
Work closely with various internal departments such as Accounting, Legal, and Tax to support corporate finance initiatives.
Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, or related) are an advantage.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in treasury and corporate finance, ideally in a corporate or financial services environment.
Experience in cash flow management, financial modeling, and corporate financing is preferred.
Familiarity with Malaysian financial regulations and practices is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and financial analysis tools.
Knowledge of treasury management systems and financial software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
