FWD Takaful Berhad is a Malaysia-based family takaful provider offering comprehensive family insurance products regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia. The company operates under the licences granted to FWD Group, a pan‑Asian life and health insurance business.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible to achieve NB sales target and operating goals through execution of field deployment and activity engagement with HSBC Insurance Product Expert (IPE) / Branch Managers / Area Managers / Regional Sales Manager and Sales Representatives.
- To consistently coach and grow Bank sales representatives' knowledge and skills competency with regards to Takaful
- To align with Advance and Premier segment branches in co-developing productivity and persistency alongside IPEs
- Intervention of Business MI in order to incorporate improved ground support, relationship and new growth area
- To govern service levels standards set by both parties and to build long term relationship with Centre of Influence within organization especially in resolving sales dispute and issues.
- To ensure marketing collaterals are readily available at every sales point and the usage is in compliance with prescribed product specification
- To keep abreast with market intelligence and to provide periodical business and activity progress to the Management
- To facilitate Training planning and implementation.
- To undertake any other task/project assigned by Management
Qualifications / Experience
- University (BA) or (BS)
- At least 2-5 years working experience with 2 years in marketing / sales related functions
- Worked in a financial institution
- Possess board-based knowledge of the Takaful business and Malaysian practices
- Possess the ability to apply entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to delivering business performance
- Possess strategic thinking capability
- Excellent influential skills - able to influence people of different cultures and backgrounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively both internally with Group executives & salesforce teams and externally with customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills - excellent customer relationship management
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Demonstrable experience in handling objection for Takaful, problem solving, soft skills, role play, negotiation skills
- Understanding in Takaful business and market segmentation
- Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills
