A reputable pet care company in Johor Bahru is seeking either an Assistant HR Manager or an HR Manager. This role involves overseeing compensation structures, recruitment and onboarding processes, performance management, and compliance with Malaysian labor laws. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, and have relevant HR experience in related industries. Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits structures, ensuring compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits administration, leave entitlements, employee incentives, and annual salary reviews.
Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including work permits and visa applications for foreign/expatriate hires.
Implement talent management strategies, succession planning, and retention programs tailored to the Malaysian workforce.
Manage training needs analysis, HRDF claims, and continuous education programs to enhance employee skills.
Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, improvement plans, and recognition programs.
Act as the primary advisor on HR policies, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and the Annual Dinner project.
Ensure workplace safety compliance under OSHA 1994, support safety audits and training, and manage incident reporting.
Oversee foreign worker and expatriate management, including permits, renewals, and integration support.
Prepare monthly HR reports for management and maintain accurate employee records.
