We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Head of Administration / Deputy Registrar to support and enhance the operational effectiveness of our international school. This role acts as a key support to the Head of Administration / Registrar by overseeing daily administrative functions, ensuring smooth coordination between departments, and contributing to strategic operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in school administration, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Coordination
  • Assist the Head of Administration in managing the administrative departments, ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively
  • Coordinate between various non-academic teams including admissions, examinations, facilities, and student affairs.
  • Lead and mentor junior administrative staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
  • Support financial administration tasks including fee management, payroll support, and budget monitoring.
  • Oversee student records, admissions processes, and enrollment under the supervision of the Head of Administration.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and school policies.
Communication & Stakeholder Relations
  • Act as a point of contact for parents, staff, and external partners on administrative matters.
  • Help manage communications and correspondence in line with school protocols.
Process Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and introduce technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of new policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and sustainability.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in school administration or similar operational roles, preferably within international or K-12 education.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Good financial literacy and experience with budgeting or fee administration.
    • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
    • Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite and familiar with school MIS systems (e.g., ISAMS, PowerSchool).
