Tai Chong Marine Engineering – Menglembu, Perak

3. compliance and internal controls
  • support local tax projects and audit, ensure accurate and timely filing including coordination with tax consultants.
  • ensure compliance with the companies act and relevant regulations
  • prepare comprehensive documentation and schedule to support internal and external audits.
  • monitor and enforce internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks.
4. financial reporting and analysis
  • prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, financial statements, and management reports with high accuracy.
  • review and analyse financial and project performances, including variance analysis
  • assist in the preparation of the budget & forecast reports and perform variance analysis vs actual.
5. treasury and cash flow management
  • monitor daily cash balances, bank positions and short-term liquidity.
  • monitor accounts receivable collection status: recommend actions for fund placements, drawdowns, etc
6. process improvement and collabration
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
7. others
  • support ad-hoc projects and other finance- relates task as required
  • supervise and mentor junior finance/accounting staff
  • assist with various ad- hoc finance -related tasks as assigned by management.
