Assistant Brand Manager (Malaysia/Singapore)

Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing plans for assigned categories (ranging across Feminine Care, Wellness Care, and Pet Care categories)

Ensure all initiatives are aligned with brand positioning, and business objectives.

Coordinate 360° marketing campaigns including digital, in-store activation, trade promotions, and new product launches.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track sales performance, market share, promotional ROI, and brand health indicators on a weekly/monthly basis.

Prepare and present regular reports and actionable insights for internal review and decision-making.

Work with internal data and analytics teams to drive more granular understanding of brand and channel performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure end-to-end execution of brand initiatives.

Align on promotional volume forecasts, inventory planning, and in-store activities.

Support product lifecycle planning and manage timelines for new SKU launches.

Coordinate with HQ and export markets for product importation processes, including preparation and submission of licensing, regulatory, and documentation requirements to ensure smooth market entry and compliance.

Volume Forecasting & Demand Planning

Prepare accurate sales volume forecasts for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal uplifts.

Validate forecasts using historical sales data, market intelligence, and feedback from Sales and Supply Chain teams.

Identify and mitigate demand-supply gaps in coordination with relevant departments.

Partner with Consumer Insight team or agencies to design and implement research (e.g., surveys, focus groups) specific targeted market.

Conduct regular store visits and on-ground interactions with targeted market assigned.

Identify insights and market opportunities for product or communication improvements.

Project Management

Lead/support the rollout of Feminine Care, Wellness Care, Pet Care category-specific marketing projects and innovation initiatives.

Ensure timely delivery, within budget, and with clear KPI tracking for each project.

Others :

Assist to monitor the monthly marketing expenses.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Veterinary Science (with business background), or related field.

2–4 years of experience in brand management or marketing, preferably in FMCG, Pet Care, or Consumer Healthcare.

Strong literacy of MS Office and computer literacy. Familiar with social media & digital marketing would be an advantage.

Adequate knowledge in interpreting sales data.

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with all people of all levels and departments within the Company.

Analytical and of high comfort level with numeric and data.

Deep consumer orientation with understanding of pet owner behavior and retail dynamics.

Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing dashboards.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Proactive and comfortable conducting fieldwork in pet retail environments.
