Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

The Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance and operational excellence of multiple retail stores within a defined geographic area. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced leader with a passion for retail, a strong understanding of sales and customer service, and the ability to drive results through effective team management. The Area Manager will ensure consistent execution of brand standards, maximize sales and profitability, and cultivate a positive and engaging work environment for the teams.

Business Performance
  • Deliver Top Line business results (business KPI) by optimizing resources and customer service
  • Analyse and communicate results to identify trends and opportunities
  • Achieve store profitability target by managing store expenses
Operational Excellence
  • Optimize operational efficiency to meet audit standards across all functions of the store
  • Partner with Marketing team to ensure in-store activations/events deliver on sales objectives
  • Ensure store presentations are in line with Sephora standards
  • Monitor service standards across store
Team Leadership and Talent Development
  • Motivate, develop and coach our retail team
  • Optimize store resources by analyzing productivity of man-hours on selling vs non-selling activities and store traffic
  • Train and coach store managers and Store Management Team
  • Complete performance review and implement performance plan
  • Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively
