Job summary

A leading construction firm in Putrajaya is seeking a candidate to supervise and monitor architectural works on-site. The role includes assisting project implementation and liaising with trade contractors to ensure successful project completion. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil) or Architecture and at least 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with high-rise building experience. Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of ISO standards are essential for this position.

Job description

• Supervise, monitor and inspect architectural works progress at site.
• Assist the overall project implementation and site construction.
• Assist the project team in carrying out inspections, attending meetings, liaising with COW, client, and other administrative matters.
• Monitor trade contractor’s works on site – work sequence, method of construction and quality control.
• Liaise with trade contractors project managers, trade contractor supervisors to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Prepare and handle site co‑ordination with sub‑contractors for any new workers, logistics and daily site reports.
• Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by Project Manager and the Management.
• Monitor the usage of machinery, tools, material and manpower.
• Carry out calculation of quantity based on construction drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of proper record of site diary, site measurement, site record and site progress record, project claims.
• Recognise and solve potential problems on site with consultants, project team, trade contractors and clerk of work.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Architecture or equivalent.

At least 5‑7 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Junior Executive specialised in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Experience in coordinating and monitoring of site works in accordance with ISO requirements and contractual specifications.

High rise building experience will be advantages.
