Job description

Responsibilities:

  • To implement the document control processes that have been established for the project
  • To carry out processes such as downloading, digesting, scanning, categorizing, uploading and registration for all incoming and outgoing documentation for the project.
  • To create, monitor and maintain registry of all documentation related to the project.
  • To check, verify and confirm the quality and formatting of all documentation are adhere to the established procedures and guidelines required for the project.
  • To provide assistance and support in ensuring the awareness of the document control system to all parties involved with the project
  • To liaise with all relevant internal and external personnel to ensure the process flow for all incoming and outgoing documentation are in line with the established procedures and processes for the project.
  • To assist team DC conduct training and lead the operation of the document control system.
  • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
  • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
The Person:
  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field or its equivalent,
  • At least 5 years of experience working as document controller in architectural and construction industry
  • Experience or high familiarity with architectural design software such as AutoCAD (including x‑ref management), Revit, various 3D software formats, Adobe file formats and Microsoft Office
  • High Familiarity with Revit file typologies, ACC, BIM 360 and Navisworks document control
  • High Familiarity with Aconex document control system
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
  • Experience in organising digital filing systems in various platforms such as Google drive, One drive, Procore and Teams
  • Able to lead, establish, develop and improve existing internal document control system
  • Proactive in document control follow ups with the team.
  • Able to troubleshoot file linking issues due to document control needs.
  • Able to work in a challenging and fast pace environment
