Job summary

A local architecture firm based in Malaysia is seeking an experienced architect to assist with contract management and oversee the progress of high-rise residential projects. Responsibilities include monitoring construction, preparing design sketches and various construction drawings, and attending critical project meetings. The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture and 3-5 years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Assist architect to carry out daily duties of contract management construction.

Provide updates to Project Lead/architect/management regarding project status.

Attend meetings; coordinate Projects and Consultants, conduct pre-construction and site meetings.

Monitor and coordinate the Project at design and construction stages in order to achieve timely completion of the Project within specific quality, specifications and cost parameters.

Conduct site visits and project meetings to monitor progress, adherence to approved architectural plans and compliance with specifications.

Preparation of:

• design sketches and presentation drawings.
• tender drawings, construction drawings, detail drawings, schedule of areas and finishes, and specifications.

Other assignments given by authorized personnel of the company from time to time

Requirements:

Minimum of 3- 5 years of working experience in Architecture, with a portfolio of high-rise residential and mixed development projects (preferable).

Degree / Diploma in Architecture (or equivalent).

Knowledge (Advantageous): Familiarity with local planning regulations, building codes, and submission /construction processes.

Experienced and proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
