Application Support Engineer (System Administrator)

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer (System Administrator) to support and maintain our critical business systems and IT infrastructure. You will work closely with project, development, QA teams, and clients to ensure system stability, security, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of servers, networks, and business applications
• Monitor system performance, health checks, and alerts; minimize downtime
• Support system upgrades, migrations, backup & recovery strategies
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper‑V)
• Manage security patching, OS updates, and infrastructure security
• Provide on-site and overseas technical support when required
• Maintain IT documentation, licensing inventory, and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–5 years’ experience in Windows, Linux & VMware environments
• Strong knowledge of server, network, and storage administration
• Experience with SAN, NAS, DNS, and backup solutions
• Hands‑on scripting experience (Unix shell / PowerShell)
• Good communication and documentation skills
