About the Company

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a bakery application, driving innovation, technical excellence, and product development outcomes.
  • Develop and optimise bakery recipes that showcase ingredient functionality, performance, and commercial value.
  • Work closely with customers to customise bakery solutions aligned with taste, texture, process, and market requirements.
  • Troubleshoot application, formulation, and consistency issues during trials and production support.
  • Collaborate with R&D to ensure formulations align with technical specifications, ingredient availability, and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to provide technical input, customer insights, and support product demonstrations, launches, and trade events.
  • Stay updated on bakery market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, food safety, and quality management systems, including ISO and FSMS requirements.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in bakery applications, product development, or ingredient functionality.
  • Commercial and innovation mindset, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business impact.
  • Strong understanding of bakery market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted technical advisor.
