Job description

To ensure all apparatus and equipment are well maintained and calibrated.

To ensure quality of testing (quality control)

To assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory

To maintain inventory list; and to coordinate with the laboratory manager on the purchase of consumables, and chemicals.

Job Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bsc. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science or related field.

Resourceful, able to work under pressure and troubleshoot processes in the laboratory.

Self-motivated and result oriented, able to plan and execute task in timely basis.

Candidates with working experience in related field with knowledge in handling laboratory instruments such as ICP-OES/UV, AAs would be of added advantage.

Optional: Experience in implementation and maintenance of MS ISO/IES 17025.
