- Lead investment analytics activities, encompassing data analysis, financial and market research, project coordination, and administrative support.
- Provide analytical support to the Management and internal stakeholders for portfolio performance evaluation against benchmarks and asset allocation strategies.
- Design reporting frameworks and analytical models to deliver data-driven insights that support investment decision‑making and performance evaluation.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient reporting of investment data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor daily investment transactions to ensure compliance with internal limits, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Track regulatory thresholds and disclosure requirements for domestic and global markets.
- Identify and escalate breaches or exceptions, supporting timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain compliance dashboards, reports, and documentation in line with governance standards.
- Assist in committee reporting, audits, and regulatory engagements.
- Support compliance system maintenance, testing, and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to data validation and improvement activities to enhance compliance accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments (investment, risk management), custodians, and system vendors on compliance queries and issue resolution.
- Participate in initiatives to strengthen policies, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in implementing monitoring enhancements and workflow optimisation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Investment, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Financial Engineering, Business or related field recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Malaysian citizen.
- Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
- Basic understanding of investment instruments, financial markets, and risk concepts (e.g., equities, fixed income, portfolio limits, regulatory thresholds).
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI skills highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, VBA, Python, or other data tools is an advantage.
- Ability to learn and apply investment compliance guidelines and escalation processes.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive information.
- Proactive and self‑motivated, with strong discipline and adaptability to new technologies.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and manage tight timelines.
- Continuous improvement mindset and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
