Job description
Overview

This position is accountable for delivering in-region manufacturing application planning, implementation and change management with excellence and in partnership with plant, regional and global stakeholders, including functional and technical SMEs. This position is also required to strategize roadmap for productivity delivery with specific focus on each of conversion cost components. Delivery of the roadmap is well coordinated in partnership with multifunction stakeholder teams spread across Plant, BU & Region teams. Key Deliverables for the position include:

  • Regional governance of the applications portfolio implementation plan aligned with global digital strategy
  • Supports project planning, resourcing and AR preparation as per defined MDS project implementation methodology
  • Coordinates & ensures alignment between business and MDS, linking to functional process/applications lead
  • Identify project resource requirements for manufacturing processes & system application projects
  • Identify overlaps, gaps and interactions between different initiatives and functions
  • Ensures functional engagement and drive plant adoption of application through implementation phase
  • Lead Regional Conversion Optimization Initiatives & Govern Productivity Delivery to achieve Net & gross Productivity Targets
  • Regional Admin for Critical KPIs (RM-PM Waste, GE & CU) impacting Conversion Cost. As part of this, position holder is required to lead the BU/Sites in a direction wherein they have right capability, timely data visibility for decision making & benchmarking with internal & external peers thus enabling them to achieve "Best in Class" KPI performance.
  • Lead Regional KPI Governance & Scorecard Ownership, coaching/mentoring BU/site Teams in the process
  • Regional Admin for upcoming "Data Governance" Standard Work Process
  • Governance owner & Approver for SAP User Job Role

Qualifications

Job specific requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master Degree in Engineering with at least 12-15 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing
  • Having Hands-on experience in Manufacturing setup with In-Depth knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
  • Possess excellent Analytical Skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills & team building to drive process improvements & work effectively across functions & levels
  • Proven track record in strategic planning skills, with acquired solution oriented mindset to deal with complex range of portfolio & categorized
  • Strong change management skills to identify & streamline existing operational processes in line with long term Manufacturing Roadmap vision.
  • Hands-on with Digital Applications, prior experience with Digital Applications Design & Deployment preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple & diverse background stakeholders
