AI System Technical Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI System Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered systems, including intelligent knowledgebase platforms and conversational agents (e.g., chatbots). This role requires strong leadership in technical architecture, cross‑functional collaboration, and strategic alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI technologies, system integration, and enterprise‑level infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and design of AI solutions, including preparation of infrastructure build sheets, architecture documentation, testing plans (unit, penetration and SDLC documentation for approval and sign‑off.
- Oversee end‑to‑end environment setup across Non‑PROD, PROD, and DR environments, coordinating with internal IT and Global Infrastructure Operations (GIO) teams.
- Collaborate with PMO and Business Analysts to ensure business requirements are accurately captured and reflected in technical solutions.
- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure high data quality, availability, and readiness for AI model consumption.
- Coordinate with other technical SME leads to ensure seamless system integration with platforms such as OneData, AIA+ Portal, ALPP, ALPA, and others.
- Ensure deployed systems are robust, scalable, secure, and high‑performing in production environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in AI system design and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in AI/ML system architecture and deployment.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex AI projects.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP technologies, and chatbot platforms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and API management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively support Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
This is a 12‑month contract role with a possible extension.
The work location is either in Jalan Ampang or Bukit Bintang, Jalan Sultan Ismail, fully onsite.
