Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Automotive Aftersales Manager to oversee workshop operations and enhance customer satisfaction. In this role, you will manage service quality, staff training, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with high-voltage EV safety standards. A minimum of 5 years of experience in aftersales and strong leadership skills are required. The ideal candidate will be familiar with workshop operations and possess excellent customer handling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Service Operations
  • Manage daily workshop operations including job allocation, technician productivity and turnaround time.

  • Ensure repairs and maintenance meet Zeekr service standards and EV safety requirements.

  • Monitor service quality, rework cases and first‑time fix performance.

2. EV Technical & Safety Management
  • Ensure compliance with EV high‑voltage safety procedures.

  • Support technicians on complex diagnostics and technical escalations.

  • Maintain required tooling, equipment and workshop readiness for EV servicing.

3. Parts & Warranty
  • Oversee parts ordering, inventory control and stock accuracy.

  • Manage warranty claims submission and recovery in accordance with Zeekr guidelines.

  • Liaise with Zeekr aftersales representatives on technical and warranty matters.

4. Customer Experience
  • Handle customer escalations and VIP cases professionally.

  • Ensure transparent service communication and accurate cost estimates.

  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention.

5. Financial & Performance Management
  • Manage aftersales revenue, labour sales, parts margins and cost control.

  • Prepare regular performance reports (service productivity, CSI, warranty, parts turnover).

  • Identify opportunities for service packages, extended warranties and value‑added services.

6. Team Leadership
  • Lead and supervise service advisors, technicians, parts and warranty staff.

  • Recruit, train and develop aftersales personnel.

  • Enforce workshop discipline, safety and performance standards.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in automotive aftersales.
  • Proven experience managing service and parts operations.
  • Strong understanding of workshop operations, warranty processes and customer handling.
  • Leadership experience managing technical and front‑line teams.
  • Preferred EV or hybrid vehicle experience.
  • Exposure to premium automotive brands.
  • Familiarity with OEM audits, KPIs and dealer compliance requirements.
