Job description

This position requires a sales role focused on supplying industrial machinery and FA-related components, where you will build relationships with existing clients while also providing technical support and undertaking regular business trips.

Job Description
  • Product Sales: Selling parts and equipment for FA (Factory Automation) machinery and industrial machinery, including generators, power transmission devices, factory automation systems, pneumatic equipment, material handling systems, and consumable parts.
  • Client Relations: Maintaining relationships with existing clients, solving problems, conducting new business negotiations, and providing follow-up after order placement.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical support as needed, based on the product knowledge required.
  • Overseas Travel: Two overseas business trips per year (to Thailand, Japan, and Singapore).
Sales Activity Process
  • Visit-Based Sales: Mainly visiting clients' factories or offices for direct face-to-face meetings and negotiations, with the option of direct-to-site visits without returning to the office.
  • Business Trips: Monthly business trips to Kuala Lumpur (KL) plus two overseas trips per year.
Other Details
  • Warehouses: Company warehouses in Penang and KL for inventory management and shipment arrangements.
  • Supplier Coordination: About 90% of the supply comes from Japan, with the remainder coordinated with partners in Thailand and Singapore.
  • Existing Clients Focus: Initially manage existing clients; later develop new business when familiar with the role.
  • Target Clients: Primarily Chinese-owned companies.
  • Sales Area: Mainly conducted in the Penang region.
  • Number of Clients Managed: Responsible for three clients (subject to change).
