Qualifications

Overview

We are expanding our accounting and secretarial team and hence we are looking for professional and dynamic personnel to join our firm. As the firm are growing, excellent exposure and learning opportunity are given.


Job Requirements


  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Business Studies/ Accounting/ Administration/ Management

  • Professional Certificate, Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent are welcome

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience in an accounting firm

  • Must have passion in accounting and data entry

  • Possess good initiative and good attitude

  • Basic knowledge of MPERS / MFRS is an added advantage

  • Preferable familiar with accounting software (e.g. SQL, UBS or similar)

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Scope


  • Assist in maintaining full sets of accounts for clients

  • Perform bookkeeping functions including data entry, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance

  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements

  • Deal with client to settle accounting queries

  • Assist in preparation of schedules, working papers, and supporting documents

  • Manage daily administrative works for firm such as answering call, sending email, filing of documents, handling dispatch and courier, photocopy, scanning of documents

  • Perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned

  • To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
