Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Malaysia is seeking an engineer with strong project management skills to prepare design documents and coordinate acoustic designs. The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and has 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD is necessary, along with fluent English. The role requires travel across Southeast Asia. This position promises varied experiences in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Specialization in Acoustics, Noise & Vibration, Mechanical or Building Services preferred.
• 2 years experience in Architectural Acoustic, Mechanical Design or Building Services is an advantage.
• Knowledge of project management and site experience in Southeast Asia projects.

• Prepare project design documents, drawings and budgetary proposals.
• Work in a team to produce coordinated acoustic design with all necessary mechanical, electrical and spatial designs.
• Project co-ordination and management
• Attend project meetings
• Perform site inspections and project commissioning.
• Conduct overseas travel for meeting and/or project site visit.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Specialization in Acoustics, Noise & Vibration, Mechanical or Building Services will be preferred.
• 2 years experience in Architectural Acoustic, Mechanical Design or Building Services will be an advantage.
• Project management and site experience with exposure in Southeast Asia projects.
• Knowledge and proficiency in using MS Project, AutoCad, Autodesk.
• Fluent in English language both spoken and written.
• Willing to travel in Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific region as and when required.
• Strong initiative, customer-oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to meet tight schedule.
• Good writing skill and capable to produce professional design/tender documents.
