Job summary

A growing property management firm in Malaysia is seeking an Account Executive specializing in full set accounts management. This role involves handling accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in property management or a related field, and possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Competitive salary of up to RM4200 per month with various benefits offered.

Job Responsibilities – Account Executive (Full Set Accounts)
  • Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation and ensure records are properly updated.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and management accounts.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure timely collection.
  • Verify and process supplier invoices and payment schedules.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing system for audit purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Support audit, tax, and statutory submissions when required.
  • Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties as assigned by the Director.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Property management or related field.
  • Diploma/Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • High degree of accuracy and meticulous.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Able to start immediately will be an advantage.
