A major construction firm based in Malaysia, Selangor seeks an experienced accountant proficient in financial reporting and construction accounting. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and be skilled in accounting software including SAP. Responsibilities include processing payments, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports for ongoing projects.
Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods.
Collaborate with purchasers storekeepers suppliers and stakeholders.
Reconcile supplier and bank accounts meticulously.
Verifying ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate.
Formation of year-end statutory accounts.
Liaise with auditors and support project audits when required.
Process subcontractors/vendor payments, petty cash claims, workers payroll.
Data entry to take up SPC invoices into SAP system.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for ongoing projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum 2 years+ of experience in construction accounting.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
