A healthcare facility in Ipoh is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage financial operations. Responsibilities include reviewing cash transactions, managing accounts receivable and payable, and preparing management accounts using ERP systems. The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, a diploma in a related field, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel. The role demands strong analytical and communication abilities and the capacity to work independently.
Review daily cash, cheque, credit card, and digital payment summaries; reconcile with front-office collections.
Handle accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding patient payments, insurance payments, and corporate/company tie-ups.
Review accounts payable, including vendor payments, medical supplies, consumables, and equipment maintenance bills.
Able to prepare full set of management accounts in monthly basis across ERP modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
Handle inventory-related transactions, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation.
Work closely with operation teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Undertake other duties or ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Min diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
Proven experience in ERP systems and financial accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, communication, and supervisory skills.
Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
