Job description

We are looking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions and reporting, while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all payments and accounting processes

What you'll be doing
  • Record invoices in the system and process payments to vendors.
  • Liaise with operations and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Record customer collection and match with invoices accordingly within timely manner.
  • Perform supplier/customer reconciliation on monthly basis.
  • Perform bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
  • Check and update e-commerce transaction.
  • Arrange and manage payment schedules for creditors, statutory and staff claim.
  • Support month-end and year end closing activities - the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Support the preparation of statutory audits and corporate tax filings.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the team or management.
What we're looking for
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work in Temasya Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
