Job summary

A technology company in Kulai, Malaysia seeks an experienced accounting professional to support the full set of accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining AR, AP, GL, and managing e-Invoicing compliance with local regulations. Candidates should have a diploma in accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in SAP and Excel. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysia e-Invoice framework.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of full set of accounts including AR, AP, and GL.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support the implementation of e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for e-Invoicing and accounting transactions.
  • Prepare schedules for audit and tax purposes.
  • Manage petty cash records.
  • Coordinate with departments and auditors on accounting matters.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance of full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Support the implementation, preparation, verification, and submission of e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to e-Invoicing and accounting transactions
  • Prepare schedules and documents for audit and tax audit purposes
  • Manage petty cash records
  • Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, tax agents, and Company Secretary on accounting and administrative matters
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysia e-Invoice framework
  • Experience with SAP accounting system is an advantagelio
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
