Job summary

An educational training centre in Kuantan is seeking a part-time Accounts & Admin Executive to manage financial records, prepare payroll, and generate reports. Company Overview

We operate 2 physical tutoring centers and 1 online platform with approximately 101 students. We are seeking a part-time Accounts & Admin Executive to manage financial records, teachers’ payroll, and monthly reports, ensuring smooth financial operations and relieving the owner from daily bookkeeping tasks.

Job Responsibilities
  • Reconcile tuition fees and other income for all centers (physical & online)
  • Record daily expenses (teacher salaries, rent, utilities, platform fees, etc.)
  • Prepare and calculate teachers’ payroll (full-time & part-time)
  • Generate monthly financial reports (individual centers + consolidated)
  • Assist in year-end documentation for external accountants
  • Maintain employee attendance, leave, and payroll-related forms

  • No direct interaction with parents
  • Focused on accuracy, clarity, and reporting
Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Basic bookkeeping / accounting knowledge
  • Ability to calculate payroll for full-time and part-time teachers
  • Responsible, independent, detail-oriented

Preferred / Advantageous:

  • Experience in educational institutions or SMEs
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, AutoCount, QuickBooks)
  • Ability to analyze reports and provide simple insights
Working Hours & Salary
  • Part-time: 1–2 days per week (flexible), remote work allowed
  • On-site reconciliation once per month
  • Salary: RM 600 – RM800 per month (depending on experience)
