Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Associate with 3 years relevant working experience to join our Accounting & Audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing client account preparations and managing full sets of accounts within stipulated timelines.

Job scope:

Prepare and review full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients across various industries.

Perform accounting functions such as journal entries and month/quarter/year-end closing processes, including the review of work performed by junior members of the team.

Review and finalize management accounts, financial statements, and consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Liaise with clients’ management to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.

Perform clients’ audit engagements, including preparation of audit working papers, supporting audit schedules and documentation.

Oversee client engagements by managing project timelines, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of accounting services.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.

At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a professional services or accounting firm.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).

Prior experience in accounting and audit will be an added advantage.
