Job summary

A financial services company in Selangor seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage the Accounts Department. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations related to credit control, debt collection, and financial reporting. Applicants should hold a degree in Finance or Accountancy and at least 3 years' experience managing full set of accounts. Candidates should be familiar with GST reporting and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role is based in Bandar Puteri Puchong.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing full set of accounts with minimal supervision.
  • Adept at handling GST reporting and complying with Customs guidelines.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Department
  • Work closely with all department on credit control, debt collection and customer invoicing
  • Monitor and analyses cash flow, cost control and expenses to guides business decision, recommending policies & procedures
  • Process month end and year end process, AP/AR, cash receipts, general ledger, reconciliations and debtors listings activities
  • Produce monthly financial statements including balance sheet, profit and loss statement and accumulative ledger
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles, initiate corrective actions where applicable
  • Liaise with external auditors on accounting issues and internal control issues
  • Ensure financial compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Works as a team to ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of all accounting transactions
  • Performa other duties as and when directed by the management.
  • Able to manage GST reporting including keeping abreast with Customs new guidelines
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Finance or Accountancy/ Holder of ACCA / CIMA / MIA registered
  • At least 3 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts with minimal supervision
  • Able to manage GST reporting including keeping abreast with Customs new guidelines
  • Must be willing to work in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor
