Job summary

A hospitality management company in Lumut, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards. Job description

Maintain accurate accounting records for all units, including OTA bookings and member check-ins.

Monitor daily transactions and reconcile accounts receivable and payable.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and reporting standards.

Track revenue from OTA platforms and direct member bookings.

Process payments to suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

Handle refunds, deposits, and adjustments accurately.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in budgeting and financial planning for property operations.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.

Internal Controls & Audit

Implement and maintain financial controls to prevent discrepancies.

Coordinate with auditors for periodic audits.

Reporting & Communication

Provide regular financial reports to management.

Support management in decision-making by providing accurate financial insights.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or property management.

Proficient in accounting software IFCA.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

Experience handling OTA bookings and reconciliations.

Familiarity with multi-unit property accounting.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

Office-based at Damai Laut, occasional coordination with property management and vendors.
