Requirements for this role:
  • Flexible hours available
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
  • Expected salary: RM3,500 - RM5,500 per month

Preparation and maintenance of financial records, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.

Reconcile and verify financial data, such as bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor invoices.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with established procedures and company policies.

Preparation of financial reports, including monthly financial statements, budget reports, and variance analysis.

Preparation of payroll and ensure accurate calculation and timely processing of payroll-related transactions.

Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including monitoring outstanding payments, following up on overdue accounts, and reconciling discrepancies.

Preparation and submission of statutory compliance filings, such as GST, tax returns, and other regulatory requirements.

Provide administrative support to the finance and accounting team, including filing, data entry, and other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in accounting or finance, or relevant field.

Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data.

Experience with payroll processing and statutory compliance filings is a plus.
