Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversees financial and management account processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labours and overhead expenses and recommend cost optimization strategies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive cost efficiency and operational improvement.
  • Assist in cash flow and working capital management, including credit and foreign exchange risk monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with bankers, auditors and regulatory bodies for reporting and compliance matters.
  • Contribute to financial modelling, business case analysis, and strategic decision support.
  • Support system improvements, digitalization of finance processes, and team development.
  • Perform ad-hoc task or assignments as delegated by management.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or recognized professional certification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/CMA) and a member of MIA.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong focus on financial planning, analysis and reporting.
  • Audit experience and prior work in a manufacturing environment will be considered an added advantage.
