We are seeking a meticulous and numbers-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. Under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will be responsible for executing factory cost accounting, inventory monitoring, and related accounting tasks. Core Responsibilities

Calculate product costs, maintain asset ledgers, complete closing activities, and provide operational support.

Cost Accounting & Closing

Assist senior accountants in establishing and maintaining the standard cost system; participate in cost data collection and periodic updates.

Accumulate and allocate materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead; calculate actual product costs and perform cost analysis (variance analysis).

Be responsible for journal entries and data review for production cost-related accounts; complete month-end and year-end cost closing under guidance, ensuring timely closing.

Perform monthly analysis of inventory and production cost accounts, identifying significant fluctuations.

Cost Analysis & Operational Support

Perform work order cost analysis, track variances between actual costs and standard costs, promptly report anomalies, and follow up on corrective actions.

Monitor the closure of production work orders, tracking the timeliness and accuracy of material issues/returns and labor hour reporting.

Assist in and track sales project quotations, project cost warnings, and variance analysis.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods; participate in stock counts; assist in analyzing and tracking the resolution of count discrepancies.

Verify the timeliness and accuracy of daily inventory transactions; assist in improving book-to-physical differences.

Collect and perform preliminary analysis of key operational data, such as raw material utilization rates and factory productivity and efficiency.

Assist in monitoring the scrap disposal process to ensure procedural compliance.

Fixed Asset Management

Maintain fixed asset records, ensuring information is accurate and complete.

Calculate monthly fixed asset depreciation and assist in processing asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.

Supporting Tasks

Provide timely and accurate cost data support for financial and operational analysis.

Actively participate in other departmental support tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Fresh graduate; or 1-2 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, data analysis, or production operations within a manufacturing environment.

Understanding of fundamental cost accounting concepts (e.g., standard costing, actual costing, work orders, raw material utilization, equipment utilization, labor efficiency).

Proficient Excel skills. Candidates with experience using the cost modules of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Yonyou, Kingdee, etc.) is a plus.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and rigorous work attitude with strong learning ability and teamwork spirit. Candidates who are keen to collaborate and communicate with various departments such as Production and Warehouse are preferred.

Ability to communicate professionally in Mandarin and English. Proficiency in Malay is also required for this role.
