Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Selangor is seeking an experienced Accounting professional. You will manage the full set of accounts, handle daily accounting functions, and ensure compliance with governing standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy and proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, liaising with external parties, and maintaining proper accounting records. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Able to speak and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
  • Demonstrate sound administrative, analytical, organizational, scheduling and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts, monthly closing, and reporting.

Overview

Ban Seng Plastic Industries & Assembly Sdn Bhd – Petaling

Responsibilities
  • Able to handle full set of accounts, monthly closing and reporting.
  • Handle daily accounting function including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger entries and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of company’s accounts in compliance with governing standards and regulations.
  • Prepare monthly & yearly Inventory Report.
  • Prepare Audit & Tax schedule and analysis.
  • Responsible for timely SST submission & payment.
  • Responsible for company insurance related matters and liaise with insurance agents.
  • Assist in company tax computation.
  • Assist in setting up/improving account operation controls and processes.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and filing system.
  • Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government agencies etc.
  • Involved in Year-end audit & stock take activity.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy, ACCA Professional Certificate or equivalence.
  • Able to speak and write in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (if applicable).
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Required Skill(s): Double Entry, Full Set of Accounting, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Treasury, Assets Management. Computer literate & Proficient with MS Office (Ms Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Demonstrate sound administrative, analytical, organizational, scheduling and prioritizing skills. Be proactive, responsive to change in direction or priorities and able to work under tight deadlines, challenging & fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
