Job Description
- Prepare and submit monthly financial statements on time for management review with a high level of accuracy and discipline.
- Maintain a full set of accounts – including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare annual financial statements and assist with audit documentation and audit queries.
- Ensure timely payments of all regular expenses and adherence to contract terms.
- Monitor sales collections and ensure efficient debt recovery.
- Handle tax compliance in line with the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967.
- Perform general accounting and administrative duties as required.
- Demonstrate discipline and ownership in delivering quality work within deadlines.
- Guide and support other team members.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in a relevant accounting role, with solid knowledge in handling a full set of accounts.
- Proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Highly meticulous, responsible, and possesses a positive working attitude.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who collaborates well across departments.
- Candidates with knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and/or immediate availability to start will have an added advantage.
