Job summary

A leading lifestyle company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accountant. Responsibilities include managing accounts for multiple brands, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma/degree in Accounting with 2-3 years of experience, proficient in Autocount and MS Excel, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. This role is critical for supporting month-end and year-end close activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in automotive.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for EMAS and Smart brand operations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing.
• Assist in inventory, costing, and fixed asset management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and internal departments.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Perform any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (automotive industry is an added advantage).
• Proficient in accounting software (Autocount) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to manage deadlines and handle multiple brands simultaneously.
