About Us

We are an established Chartered Accountants firm in Malaysia. We are looking for a meticulous and motivated individual to join our accounting team.

Role

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about numbers? Do you take pride in transforming raw data into clear and accurate financial records? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a team member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for key steps in data entry, compilation, and preparation of financial statements. Your primary focus will be to meticulously process source documents to generate complete and accurate full sets of financial statements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-volume, accurate data entry of financial transactions from source documents, such as invoices, receipts, bills, and bank statements, into our accounting software.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Assist with the payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Prepare and file supporting documents for the firm partners to review.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm's policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, e.g., UBS and MS Office, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable or receivable principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a focus on speed and precision.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, and relevant experience are highly valued.
