A local accounting firm in Selangor is seeking an individual to assist in various accounting tasks such as handling receipts, payments, and invoices. The role also involves supporting month-end closing activities and maintaining proper documentation. Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields are encouraged to apply, especially fresh graduates. Key attributes include attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn within a team-oriented environment.
Assist in handling accounting entries such as receipts, payments, and invoices.
Support month-end closing activities and preparation of basic journals.
Maintain proper filing of accounts and documents.
Provide support to the team in liaising with auditors, tax agents, and banks when needed.
Assist with SST submissions and ensure deadlines are met.
Carry out administrative and ad‑hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage.
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Able to work in a team, follow guidance, and adapt to changing priorities.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus but not required.
Honest, responsible, and able to handle confidential information.
