Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing group in Malaysia is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to lead their team in meeting production goals. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in the EMS industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial position. Must possess a degree in manufacturing, electronics, or mechatronics engineering, and have expertise in PCBA, SMT, and ERP systems. The role involves fostering team performance, process improvements, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in PCBA and SMT preferred, knowledge of injection molding is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage projects effectively.

Job Description

• Lead and supervise a manufacturing team to meet production goals, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Continuously improve processes, productivity, and employee performance.
• Coordinate with departments for smooth production flow and manage resources and materials.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and propose improvements like automation.
• Maintain plant facilities and minimize downtime.
• Ensure work follows SOPs and quality standards, while training the team.
• Promote continuous improvement and contribute to problem-solving.
• Monitor inventory and manage the department budget.
• Comply with regulations and maintain 5S standards.
• Lead LEAN initiatives and contribute to strategic and operational management.
