To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of Data Science, or a related field experience.
• Hands on experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG, LLM Evaluation and LLM Fine tuning
• Solid understanding in NLP concepts and familiarity with NLP libraries.
• Familiarity in writing Python backend API’s using Fast API, Flask or other frameworks.
• Knowledge of fine tuning LLMs including Llama, BERT and GPT based.
• Self-starter and intellectual curiosity
• Great communication skills, ability to explain predictive analytics to non-technical audience.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in data exploration techniques and tools
• Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., OCP, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data visualization techniques.

Experience with Agile methodology, use of Atlassian products Jira, Confluence.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Worked on multiple Gen AI projects and delivered them E2E successfully.
• Knowledge of forecasting and predictive modeling.
• Any Azure or AWS Cloud certification
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarization with DevOps tools and concepts such as Infrastructure as code, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Mainframe knowledge is a plus.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,025 - $188,375
