Job summary
A leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical packaging is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Querétaro, Mexico. This role involves ensuring the availability of production equipment through maintenance activities and supporting departmental KPIs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electromechanical Engineering and relevant maintenance experience, with knowledge of PLC programming and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in maintenance and automation.
- Experience in corrective and predictive maintenance.
- Knowledge of LOTO/CATA systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment availability in the NS-RTF BU forming area.
- Execute corrective, preventive, and autonomous maintenance activities.
- Support the achievement of maintenance department KPIs.

Gerresheimer Querétaro S.A. in Mexico produces primary glass packaging for pharmaceutical use. Type I glass is produced in clear and amber glass. The broad product range includes ampoules, serum vials, screw thread vials, ready-to-fill syringes and cartridges.
Responsible for ensuring equipment availability in the NS-RTF BU forming area through the execution of corrective, preventive, and autonomous maintenance activities, aligned with established procedures and maintenance schedules. This role also supports the achievement of maintenance department KPIs.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Electomechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in maintenance and automatization
- Experience in corrective and predictive maintenance
- PLC\'s Siemens programming and visions systems
- Experience in electronics, electricity, mechanics, and pneumatics
- Lean manufacturing
- LOTO / CATA Systems
- SolidWorks / Autocad
- Intermediate English
