Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the FA Engineer, this role involves responsibilities for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Determines conditions and procedures under which the technicians are to be conducted and indicators and phases of the debug process.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing and troubleshooting problems such as failures of product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, Failure Analysis Reports, new solutions, obsolete components data interpretation, or coding issues.
• Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians, and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failure solutions, as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures, and monitoring improvements.
• Analyzes and interprets failure data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering and management personnel.
