About the Role

We're seeking a Lead Developer who can bridge the gap between technical SEO excellence and development innovation. In this role, you'll implement critical technical SEO improvements, configure paid media tracking solutions across multiple platforms, and develop internal tools that propel our agency forward. You'll be working at the intersection of marketing technology and web development, embracing AI-powered workflows to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

What You'll Do

Implement: Execute SEO & Paid Media recommendations and implement website changes that measurably improve client performance

• Set up comprehensive tracking across platforms (Google Tag Manager, Analytics, Meta Pixel, Ad platform, CRM and CMS offline conversion tracking integration, server-side conversion tracking)
• Diagnose and fix technical SEO issues including crawlability problems, redirect chains, schema markup, and indexation issues
• Optimize site speed through code improvements, image compression, and server configuration
• Manage redirects for site migrations and URL structure changes
• Execute mobile optimization and responsive design improvements
• Troubleshoot & implement correct tracking code for paid media campaigns across platforms

Develop: Create custom solutions and software that elevate our client offerings

• Contribute to the development of our new deliverables software
• Create reusable components that improve development efficiency
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices
• Maintain APIs for integration with third-party services

Maintain: Manage client websites with uncompromising reliability

• Update WordPress sites including themes, plugins, and core updates
• Troubleshoot website issues across various CMS platforms

Collaborate: Translate technical concepts for team members and clients

• Explain technical implementations in clear, accessible language
• Participate in client meetings to address technical questions
• Create documentation and training materials
• Work with SEO managers to align technical implementations with SEO goals
• Provide accurate time estimates and manage workload effectively
