As a Software Engineer, you will build technology to support millions of customers worldwide. Our unique locking technology combines proprietary methods and data utilization to provide credit-based products in emerging markets. We focus on app design, web frontend and backend development, and partner API integrations. As part of the global engineering team, you should be prepared for technical challenges and eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Code software primarily in PHP, Javascript/Vue/AngularJS, HTML, CSS. Design, implement, test, debug, and deploy features and services based on product specifications. Collaborate with the Product team to meet business needs.
• Manage relational SQL databases. Perform CRUD operations using SQL. Design and implement database schema changes for new features.
• Handle customer data responsibly, ensuring security and privacy. Develop data-driven products.
• Coordinate with global engineering teams and partners to deliver products internationally. Design tools for remote support and build APIs for real-time data delivery.
• Own feature development from requirements to deployment, including bug fixes.
• Contribute to team growth by mentoring new engineers and participating in interviews.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and practice engineering standards like pair programming and TDD.

Requirements:

• Experience in financial technology services.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Frontend: Vue.js
• Backend: PHP
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
