We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join an Agile development team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and supporting the Agile software development process, ensuring that the Scrum framework is implemented effectively and delivering high-quality software products. You will work closely with the development team, Product Owner, and stakeholders to promote collaboration, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

1. Act as a servant leader, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Coach and guide the development team on Agile principles, practices, and Scrum framework, promoting self-organization and continuous improvement.
3. Remove any impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress and ensure a smooth development process.
4. Collaborate with the Product Owner to groom and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-refined and ready for the upcoming sprints.
5. Monitor and track team velocity and sprint progress, providing regular updates to the stakeholders and management.
6. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and collaboration among team members.
7. Identify and implement process improvements, adapting Agile practices to suit the needs of the team and organization.
8. Facilitate effective decision-making and conflict resolution within the team.
9. Provide guidance and support to the Product Owner in backlog management, user story creation, and release planning.
10. Continuously assess team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
11. Stay updated with the latest Agile methodologies, tools, and industry trends, and share best practices with the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development projects.
3. Strong knowledge of Agile principles, values, and Scrum framework.
4. Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM or PSM) is highly desirable.
5. Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
7. Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a plus.
8. Knowledge of other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean) is beneficial.
9. Strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
