As an MDM (Master Data Management) Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s MDM system. Your role will involve managing and governing master data, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data quality across various systems and applications. Your expertise in MDM technologies, data modeling, and data governance will be crucial in enabling accurate and consistent master data management throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, and maintain the organization’s Master Data Management (MDM) system, including data models, hierarchies, attributes, and data integration processes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams, to define and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
3. Define and implement data quality standards and rules to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.
4. Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, identify data issues, and take corrective actions to improve data integrity.
5. Administer user access, security, and permissions within the MDM system, ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
6. Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define and document data requirements, mappings, and transformations.
7. Develop and execute data integration processes, including data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities.
8. Monitor system performance, conduct regular system health checks, and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the MDM system.
9. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in MDM technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve data management processes.
10. Provide training and support to users, promoting best practices in data management and MDM system usage.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in MDM or data management are a plus.
2. Proven work experience as an MDM Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of MDM concepts, architectures, and technologies.
3. In-depth knowledge of MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, IBM InfoSphere MDM, or SAP MDG, and experience with data modeling, data integration, and data quality.
4. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
5. Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and experience in database administration tasks.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data issues and propose effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
9. Knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
10. Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with industry trends and advancements in MDM technologies.
