We are seeking a very senior Unity Engineer to play a foundational role in building a platform of engaging apps for children, in partnership with a leading children's entertainment company.

This is a high-impact, non-gameplay engineering role focused on the core architecture of the platform. You will design and implement systems, tools, and services used across multiple products, ensuring they are maintainable, modular, and durable. The role is a one-year remote contract, 40 hours per week, with core hours from 10 am to 5 pm US Eastern Time (EST).

• Design architectures collaboratively with stakeholders, conducting research and planning before implementing core systems such as in-app purchases, analytics, tools, and UI.

• Develop clean, maintainable, modular, and reusable systems for various non-gameplay functions across products.

• Act as the technical lead, working closely with product managers and stakeholders to meet team goals.

• Coordinate with the client team, communicating proactively to ensure aligned collaboration.

• Manage the release pipeline, overseeing app updates on iOS and Android to maintain stability and quality.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including leadership roles.

• Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.

• Experience designing systems, task breakdown, and effort estimation.

• Experience with Unity for cross-platform mobile app development.

• Solid background in implementing mobile platform services, including in-app purchases, subscriptions, and analytics.
