The Work You'll Do

As a Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical champion and trusted advisor who bridges the gap between technology and business. Working alongside our direct Sales and Alliance teams, you will provide essential expertise in identity verification, digital signature and biometric solutions, demonstrating how our innovative technology can transform complex processes into efficient operations for our largest clients. This position offers you the opportunity to develop professionally in an international company while helping businesses navigate the increasingly complex world of trust and compliance with confidence.

More specifically, you will:

  • Provide domain expertise around identity verification, digital signature, trust and biometric technology
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of functionality and technical architecture of our products
  • Assist in the client discovery process to help uncover unforeseen challenges and ensure the proper offering is being proposed
  • Develop a firm understanding of customer needs, pain points, and requirements around the trust reporting process and align Sovos solutions to fulfill the needs and requirements to eliminate the pain
  • Work closely with Sovos\' Sales to conduct sales and solutions presentations
  • Maintain and continually improve demonstration capabilities, conducting internal Sales department training, demo system props and proposal content
  • Assist in the creation of RFP and RFI responses for prospective new clients
  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth
  • Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
What We Need From You
  • Bachelor\'s in related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions
  • Availability to attend the office once or twice a week (Condesa, CDMX)
  • Solid knowledge and previous experience in implementing or selling solutions involving:
    • Web applications (Angular)
    • Mobile applications (Swift/Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, cross-platform)
    • SaaS platforms
    • Custom development (consulting)
    • Digital identity
  • 2+ years of experience involved in commercial processes:
    • Understanding of RFPs and tenders
    • Putting together and explaining proposals in detail
    • Technical estimates
  • Experience making demos and proofs-of-concept (POC)
  • Customer facing experience, preferred
  • Strong team orientation with a history of working collaboratively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize activities
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and strong drive to succeed
  • Moderate travel required for client meetings, trade shows, Sovos Events, and special projects
  • Ability to interact effectively with teammates, colleagues and customers
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex concepts
  • Ability to concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Ability to utilize technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
