  • Our client is a global leader in recycled plastic materials, particularly renowned for their innovative approach to PET plastic recovery since their founding in 2012. With a vast international network, they have been instrumental in significantly increasing recycling rates across numerous countries, and are now set for substantial expansion in their capabilities.

    The Sales Manager role is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves opening new doors, and is motivated by building something from the ground up. You’ll need to be self-driven, results-oriented, and energized by performance-based rewards. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys the challenge of building a pipeline, navigating competitive conversations, and taking full ownership of their targets.

    This is a fully remote role. Candidates need to be European based to be able to easily travel to client sites if required – but not much travel is expected with this role as most of the sales process is online.

    Must Have Skills :

    • rPET Plastics Knowledge – In-depth knowledge of PET and rPET plastics, including material properties, applications, manufacturing processes, and industry standards / requirements.
    • Proven Track Record – Demonstrable experience generating new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth within the plastics industry.
    • Relationship Building – Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Market Expertise – Thorough understanding of rPET plastic market dynamics and industry trends, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
    • Entrepreneurial Mindset – Self-motivated and result-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

    • Strategic Thinking – Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Technology Proficiency – Comfortable working with technology and adaptable to learning new tools and systems.

    • Flexibility – Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

    Additional Functional Requirements :

    • New Business Development – Identify opportunities, market segments, and target clients to generate new leads, conduct market analysis, and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
    • Client Relationship Management – Build and cultivate strong relationships with key clients, understand their business objectives, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
    • Strategic Planning – Develop and execute business development plans aligned with the company’s objectives, target markets, and sales goals, and identify areas for improvement and growth within the existing client base.
    • Team Collaboration – Collaborate with internal marketing, procurement, and operations teams to align business development efforts with the company strategy and ensure a smooth transition of new clients.
    • Reporting and Analysis – Prepare sales reports and forecasts, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and use CRM software to maintain accurate records of sales activities and the sales pipeline.
